Dr Maya saved my life. I started getting sick in 2019 and was tossed around specialists for years. I saw ENTs, allergists, immunologists, neurologists, cardiologist, emergency room doctors.. During this time we discovered our home had an extremely dangerous level of black mold in our ceiling that our landlords would not fix. When I went to doctors with this information, I was brushed off and told I was crazy. I was told there was no way mold could get me sick. … I more simply just felt there was a monster inside of me that took over my body.

After 4 years of frustration, 10 different houses and symptoms only getting worse, in 2023 we unknowingly moved into a home with black mold and pink slime mold covering the HVAC unit. During this time my symptoms skyrocketed and I gave up on Western medicine. I started the search for a functional doctor. After consultations with about a dozen functional doctors, I finally found Dr. Maya. What struck me most about her was the way she listened and HEARD everything I said. She didn’t sit there with a laptop or computer like the rest of them. She looked me in my eyes and saw and felt everything I was going through. She gave me hope again.

After numerous doctor visits and about a year in half of no results, I wanted to take control of my health. I was frustrated, annoyed and disappointed prior to meeting Dr. Maya. Wonderful healer.Was considering shoulder surgery;now I am almost healed after 6 weeks!

I have been seeing Dr.Maya for about eight years. When I see her, it is usually due to sciatica and every single time when I walked in with excrutiating pain, I left pain free in one visit. Most recently, I had surgery for torn ligaments in my hip, yet I was left with considerable pain afterwards. My orthepedic surgeon said he needed to do another exploratory surgery not promising positive results. That’s when I decided to see Dr. Maya again and after suffering for months, I walked out pain free again. I averted a serious surgery with a six week recovery period by seeing her. It seems all companies and people want you to rate them and give them 5 stars for just doing what they are suppose do, so I rarely rate them and usually when they do bad to warn other people off. Now, I do this not for me, but for all the suffering people trying to get better and getting nowhere, like I was. I am not the normal person to see a Doctor like Doctor Maya. I believe in all the normal American Doctors. However, I have ( or had) Treatment Resistance Major Depressive Disorder. For over 30 years I have spent over 100k trying to find relief and of course since my condition is treatment resistant nothing helped. I just had to live in my own private Hell, with nothing working, even as hard as I tried. In my last treatment center, I tried acupuncture and this thing call NET. The reason I tried it is because I had nothing to lose. Though my treatment with both acupuncture and NET, I am no longer depressed. How much would you pay to get your life back?
I would normal consider all this a weird Voodoo type stuff for losers.
I can’t consider acupuncture as Voodoo since it only been around since forever. NET was and is weird to me, but did it the whole time thinking it wouldn’t work. I started getting better but didn’t really think it was NET. After 5 months, I know it was NET. I still get depressed every once in a while, but now, like normal people, I fight back and get determined to make things happen. If you have any issues not working for you, especially psych issues, run, do not walk to Dr. Maya. I have to put one disclaimer on this. I have not tried all the other stuff she does. So I can’t speak to those things, but I’d probably try it if she said I needed it.

Dr. Maya is well versed and passionate about Eastern medicine. Professional, caring, and effective. Dr. Maya is thorough, knowledgeable, and very impressive. The recent cold weather aggravated a variety of my joints and the pain was keeping me up at night. Dr. Maya was able to help with the pain through a variety of treatments including acupuncture, cold laser therapy, and Chinese liniment oil – much more preferable treatments than the RX medications or cortisone shots my doctor suggested. I came to Dr Maya because I had pain in several parts of my back. I had many massage therapists and chiropractors work on me but never relieved the pain, especially in my ribs and neck. In just over one hour with Doctor Maya I had a unique combo Acupuncture and Facial Cupping treatment that was a true 5 stars. The first phase she checked my pulses and inserted some needles for general health & vitality. Second was the facial Acupuncture where she placed clusters of needles around my face and then I rested to music. (Ask for the heat lamp to warm your belly.) The final stage was Facial Cupping. Doctor Maya applied organic essential oils on my face and neck and with different sized cups glided, lifted, smoothed and caressed the muscles and skin.
